We normally have three services on Sundays, two in the morning at 9:30 and 11:15, and one at 6:30 in the evening. The two morning services have an identical format and content.
At holiday times our normal service hours may change. Details of any changes will be published on this page.
Both morning services at Christ Church are family services, with Spotlight, our Sunday school for primary school aged children.
After both services there is the chance to chat over a cup of tea or coffee.
The morning services start at 9.30 and at 11.15.
Our evening service starts at 6.30pm and has a more informal feel than the morning services.
Spotlight is the Sunday school at Christ Church. At our 9.30 service it is for children aged 3 to 11. At our 11.15 service it is for children aged 3-6. The children join with the adults for the first part of the service, then leave for a lesson with with other children.
For children 0-3 years at the 11:15am service, in the church lounge. We have a wide variety of activities and toys for the children to play with and creche helpers so that parents can attend the church services.
All our Spotlight leaders and creche helpers have up to date DBS checks.
Our youth (11-18 year olds) usually join us at the 11:15am service. After the service we meet together to discuss the sermon and think about how it will impact our lives in the week ahead. You can find out more here.
