Times and Format

We normally meet each Sunday morning at 10:30am and on Sunday evening at 6.30pm.

What to expect

Both of our services are roughly an hour long and include singing prayer and Bible teaching. The main focus of all our services is hearing God speak through his word, the Bible.

Our morning service is family friendly. During the morning service we run a creche and Sunday school, called Spotlight, for primary school aged children. Our youth also attend this service.

Our evening service starts at 6.30pm and has a more informal feel..

After every service there is the chance to chat over a cup of tea or coffee.

Spotlight is the Sunday school at Christ Church and is for primary school aged children (ages 3-11). The children join with the adults for the first part of the service, then leave for a activities and teaching with the other children.

We run a creche, in the church lounge for children up to three years old. We have a wide variety of activities and toys for the children to play with and creche helpers so that parents can attend the church services.

All our Spotlight leaders and creche helpers have up to date DBS checks.

Our youth (11-18 year olds) attend the morning service. After the service we meet together to discuss the sermon and think about how it will impact our lives in the week ahead. You can find out more here.

Please note that due to COVID19 restrictions, our service formats are subject to change.  For instance, tea and coffee after the service, Spotlight teaching and crèches are currently suspended.

We will update this information as things change.
